Next steps – explore groups and counselling
With your input, we will create an eating disorder treatment plan for you – this is likely to include:
- One-to-one counselling
- Group work (including CBT, Movement Therapy, Meditation – read about all our eating disorder therapy groups)
You will have regular meetings with your appointed therapist to see how everything is going.
Who can I turn to if I have questions or setbacks?
While we are not an inpatient clinic, we are still there for you 24 hours a day – by email, text, phone or social media (as one client said: “I like the social media a lot, as it feels like the clinic’s still there even when I’m not there”).
How will I know when I have ‘recovered’?
Recovery means no longer suffering from the physical symptoms of an eating disorder and successfully tackling the emotional and psychological symptoms.
We have to be realistic – there are no guarantees with recovery from eating disorders – but our success rate to date among our ‘graduates’ (those who have completed our program) is 100%.
