Here at the clinic, we know how difficult it can be to ask for help, and particularly so when you have an illness that pretends to be your best friend. We wanted to share some insight into the steps you can take to go from needing help to getting help with us.
- Say hello
The first step is to get in touch by dropping us an email at email@example.com or giving us a call. We see all the inquiries that come through, and will respond to you as soon as we can. Depending on the information you’ve already shared, we may ask a few questions about what you’re going through and the treatment you may be looking for. It’s ok if you don’t yet know what you need – that’s what we’re here for!
- Come and visit us
The next step is booking you in for an assessment. This is an informal chat with one of our trained therapists, where they will ask a little bit more about you and the treatment you may or may not have received in the past. All our therapists are lovely, so if you feel a bit nervous you don’t need to worry at all.
- The right treatment for you
After your assessment we put our heads together and tailor a treatment program that’s structured exactly to your needs. We make sure that all programs are holistic, providing you with a variety of different treatments. We will also ensure you see a one-to-one therapist that suits you. We make it our absolute priority that you have all the treatment in place for you to fully recover.
- First day
As you’ve already been in for an assessment, you will know where our clinic is and what it looks like. But even so, we will make sure to meet you at the front door and introduce you to your first session. We know it can be daunting to embark on a journey away from your eating disorder, so we’re always available if you have any questions.
- We’re always around
One of the things that is different from a counselling service is that we are a therapeutic community – our doors are always open. Regardless of whether a client has sessions booked in with us, if they have had a bad day they can always come to clinic and there will be somebody there to speak to them. Our staff to client ratio is one to one so that means there is enough of us to be able to provide a lot of support for our clients.
If you yourself are looking for treatment, or know someone who is, feel free to give us a call at 0845 603 6530 or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get in touch soon.
